Purpose of this Site

I know, I should be working right now.  (So should you, probably) But I can't sit idly by while a gross Miscarriage of Justice is occuring in a quiet corner of these United States of America.

This Blog and Site is intended to focus positive energy on resolving the case of a substitute teacher, Julie Amero, of Connecticut.  I won't say anything about the case at this time, as I'm continually learning more, and speaking with more people regarding it, but I would like you to learn more, and if you feel Ms. Amero was gravely wronged, contact me as we attempt to get her case overturned.

I want to let you read a bit, so here's a list of sites, beginning with the first story I read.  There will be much more appearing on this site as the information is accumulated.   If you actively participated in the court case, and would like to weigh in, please contact me as well.

    Mike,

This is such a great cause and I will help in any way that I can. There are so many injustices in the system and its often that women get the short end of the stick. Thanks for standing up for women and this women in particular.

Allison Whitney, ComputerCOP's director of communications, explained how her company certifies police officers to use the software:

"They get a full hour of training, and then they're tested," Whitney said. "A lot of these people don't have any kind of training. Their [superior] officers may give them some kind of low-level training. Most of the time we do the training over the phone."
WOW a full hour of training over a phone no less. He must know more then someone whos been doing this for MANY MANY YEARS. Someone needs to sue the pants off the school and the police department over this.

Exactly... The network admin, the school, not the teacher in any way. Period. After this long, the Judge himself should have thrown the case out. An original grand jury had to come up with the case, so i wonder what they even presented in the first place to grant a warrannt for arrest or arrest period for that matter. Maybe her state is different then Texas, but it is still the Justice system. Just saying, yeah the court made a mistake on the behalf of the prosecution and its witnesses, she'll get convicted, sentenced, but she can appeal and most likely will win... That is not enough and when put like that, looks completely stupid. This lady has endured enough, having to endure the appeal process while being convicted of crime like that is basically insane. She must feel insane inside right now, because I myself have literally seen thousands and thousands of complaints about this case from individuals all over the world, so i know she sees them as well. Everyone sees a problem with the case, yet nothing can be done. Whatever can be done, please let me, us, them, everyone know. Great idea for the site, i hope it helps out as well.

I just find this sad and I am sorry Mrs. Amero that you are beeing put thru this by our Judical System and incompentent Interpretators of the facts, aka Prosecutors and Judges. Altho I feel the same as most people that have a background in Computer Security that this is a complete rape of our legal system. You are fighting the Government and the Government holds all the cards in any case brought before it. She may get an appeal and win, but there will never be an admision of guilt or apology from the unknowledgable persons held responsible for ruining this womens life. Chalk another win up to the wonderful people we appoint to protect us.

FYI, www.networkperformancedaily.com has more info on the case, including what Herbert Horner would have testified to if he had a chance to testify.

Getting the word out is important. I've posted on this story twice now, and will continue to do so till the public outcry reverses this miscarriage of justice.

A comment has been submitted by David Raymond Amos, that appears to be an attempt to reach another earlier contributor and further encourages the harassment of one of the prosecution witnesses. As it does not contribute to the general discussion of the case, I've commented it out using HTML comments. If you care to read the comment, use the View Source options in your browser.

I just made a donation to the legal defense fund. After Kelo vs. New London I'm not sure I trust anything that goes on in CT.

I simply cannot imagine that Ms. Amero's conduct is criminal. If she had been actively showing, promoting and seeking pornography for the kids (or even for herself on a school computer) that would be one thing but "throw a coat over it"?
